7. Motel One Brussels

Motel One Brussels is the most popular hotel in Brussels city center. It’s also one of the best-rated Brussels hotels in the mid-range budget.

This is a contemporary 3-star hotel with a modern design and good facilities. The location is very good, the hotel is really nice and it has an excellent price-quality ratio. The only disadvantage is that the rooms are really small, even by European standards.

8. Hotel Saint Nicolas

Hotel Saint Nicolas is a popular 3-star hotel in the heart of the city center, in the area with many cafes, restaurants, and shops. This is one of the busiest parts of town and everything is just nearby, but it also means that it can get quite noisy here at times.

One of the lowest-rated of the most popular hotels in Brussels in this selection, don’t let this discourage you. The hotel has been recently renovated and is rebranding to a totally new concept (everything should be ready by January 2022).

Location: Hotel Saint Nicolas is located just 3 minutes walking distance from Grand Place. The most popular pedestrian shopping area around Rue Neuve is also just nearby. When the Brussels Christmas market is held, you’ll find market stalls and (usually) an ice skating rink just nearby.

9. Bedford Hotel & Congress Center

Bedford Hotel & Congress Centre. Located in a more residential area just a few minutes’ walk from Manneken-Pis, this 3-star hotel is another popular choice in the heart of the city.

It’s an OK hotel if you are on a somewhat lower budget and are looking to be close to everything.

The hotel looks a bit dated, but the staff is friendly, the beds are comfortable, and the area is rather quiet for the city center. All in all, usually very good value for the location, although prices here seem to vary a lot based on supply and demand.

Location: Bedford Hotel is located in a more local area, about 7-10 minutes from Grand-Place or Central Station.

Parking: The hotel has no parking, but there’s rather cheap public parking nearby. Sometimes, you might also find a spot on the street in front of the hotel (also paid, but not as expensive as in the other areas in the city center).

Price: from 80-100 EUR per night for 2 people excl. breakfast. Prices can vary A LOT depending on the period.

Reviews: 8.0/10 on Booking.com. 3.5/5 on Tripadvisor. 4.0/5 on Expedia.

Alternative: Featuring this hotel here it would be difficult not to mention Ibis Grand-Place as well. It’s comparable in terms of price, but has better customer reviews and a more central location right next to Grand-Place and the Central Station. So if you are looking for a good lower-budget hotel in Brussels city center, you may want to check it out as well. The only reason we didn’t feature Ibis separately is because we tried to keep this list to just 10 most popular hotels, and Ibis fell one place short.

10. easyHotel Brussels City Centre

easyHotel Brussels City Centre is the most popular budget hotel in Brussels city center.

This very basic hotel is modern, clean, and the beds are comfortable. If you are just looking for a well-located place to sleep without any extras, it’s definitely a good choice.

Location: easyHotel is located in a quieter street just next to the busy pedestrian area at Rue Neuve. Grand Place and Central Station are about 10 minutes walking distance from here. There is a nice food court just next door and many other cafes and restaurants.

Parking: easyHotel has no parking. Parking Monnaie is a short walking distance from the hotel.

Price: from 70-80 EUR per night for 2 people excl. breakfast.

Reviews: 8.2/10 on Booking.com. 4.0/5 on Tripadvisor. 4.2/5 on Expedia.
