Booking.com is our main platform for both accommodation and car rental. It offers one of the largest selections of hotels, apartments, and private rentals worldwide, with competitive prices, clear booking conditions, and free cancellation on most stays. We also use their car rental platform for almost all our trips because it makes it easy to compare multiple providers in one place, prices are consistently very good, and their full-coverage insurance is usually much cheaper than buying insurance directly at the rental counter.

GetYourGuide is our main website for booking guided tours, activities, and attraction tickets worldwide. We use it to compare options, check real reviews, and secure time slots in advance. Prices are usually the same as booking directly, but their free-cancellation policy and customer support are among the best we’ve experienced. Whether you are looking for unforgettable winter activities in Iceland, or some of the best attractions in Vegas, you will find plenty of choices on GetYourGuide.
Tiqets is a very useful website for booking skip-the-line tickets and timed-entry passes for popular museums and attractions. It’s especially helpful for city trips, where many major sights now require advance reservations. We usually use Tiqets when we only need entrance tickets or when their digital city cards offer better value for the main attractions in a destination.
Viator is another reliable platform for booking tours and activities worldwide. We mainly use it when a specific tour is not available on GetYourGuide. It’s useful for comparing similar experiences and finding smaller local operators, especially for more specialized tours outside of Europe.
Hellotickets is our go-to website for booking event tickets while traveling, such as theatre shows, concerts, sports games, and special performances. It’s particularly handy for destinations like London, New York, or Las Vegas, where popular shows often sell out quickly.
